Welcome

Delivering creative solutions with integrity, independence and experience.

Invigour is a niche consultancy business launched by Mark Holden in 2001 that specialises in the following:

  • Project Creationhelping clients contemplating a major capital investment to scope up sustainable projects in terms of business case; client brief; funding; planning; selection of an appropriate delivery and procurement strategy and team selection and appointment.
  • Project Deliveryleading or supporting during the delivery phase of a project with roles ranging from direct management of the project to independent client advice as circumstances dictate.
  • Project Assuranceconducting and facilitating independent gateway reviews; risk assessments and post project evaluation to provide assurance to those accountable for project delivery and capture project learning.

We provide a personal and tailored service to client’s seeking creative solutions and needing assurance in the delivery of complex and sustainable projects.

Invigour works across both private and public sectors with particular strengths in the cultural and heritage sector and education.

We are proud to have played a leading role in the realisation of numerous successful projects including the restoration of Birmingham Town Hall and Aston Hall; creation of new facilities for mac Birmingham; re-development of the former home of the BBC at Pebble Mill; delivery of a new National College for High Speed Rail and the creation of a stunning new front of house at Symphony Hall.

Invigour provided invaluable support and advice to the Trust Board, to help us determine a disposal strategy for the grade 2 listed former Shelton Hospital and to bring the opportunity to market.

Invigour’s experience and independence enabled the Board to form a consensus on the way forward and identify a preferred bidder to re-develop this sensitive site adjacent to our new Redwoods Mental Health Facility.

They worked transparently, supportively and with good humour to achieve our goal. I have no hesitation in commending them.

The team at HLW tremendously enjoyed working with Invigour.

The leadership, energy and team spirit that they brought to the project got it off to a superb start.

The good communication has continued as the project has progressed… adding greatly to its success.

Invigour have been part of the Gunnersbury Museum and Park project team since 2013.  They have played a major role in this £12.8m HLF funded project providing the advice and expertise to transform the local history museum into an exciting place of discovery and wonder offering something to inspire and fascinate everyone. Throughout they have been a pleasure to work with, they have gone the extra mile and worked beyond their brief to ensure the success of the project…I can highly recommend them.
